Audi's milestone could be good news for sales jobs
One of Europe's most-respected car manufacturers has passed a major landmark after it recorded more than two million sales in a hard-to-crack marketplace.
The sale of an Audi A3 TDI to a customer in California saw the Germany car manufacturer pass the milestone and Audi America president Johan de Nysschen said the fact that the car was sold to a first-time buyer shows how far it has come.
"Audi started selling its very first cars, the Super 90 and 100, 40 years ago. With record sales this quarter, something tells us it will take far less than that amount of time to hit the next two million Audis," CarThrottle.com stated.
De Nysschen added that the company is planning to launch the redesigned A8 flagship in November, which could be good news for people in sales jobs trying to attract buyers.
Audi recently stated that its well-built, intelligent cars need to be driven intelligently in order for them to reach their optimum energy efficiency.
